Arctic Trucks is known for their off-road-focused modifications on SUVs and the latest example based on the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is no exception.

Arctic Trucks unveiled the Pajero Sport AT35 which is already available in the Russian market, offering increased off-road capabilities as well as an imposing road presence.

The most obvious modification is the new set of 17-inch wheels shod in massive 315/70 R17 tyres for added grip in all types of terrain.

In order to make up for the extra width, Arctic Trucks added their signature fender extensions, which has to be said are quite fitting with the design of the Pajero Sport. See below:

The diameter of the wheels in combination with the lifted and upgraded heavy-duty suspension has resulted in an impressive 270 mm (10.6-inch) ground clearance.

Naturally, sitting so much higher has a positive effect on the off-road credentials of the Pajero Sport. The AT35 is good for a 34.5-degree approach angle (up from 30 degrees), and a 28.8-degree departure angle (up from 24.2 degrees).

Arctic Trucks left the powertrain of the Pajero Sport alone. Thus, you can have the AT35 with either the 2.4-litre turbodiesel producing 179 hp (133 kW / 181 PS) or with the 3.0-litre V6 gasoline producing 217 hp (162 kW / 220 PS).

Power is transmitted to all four wheels thanks to a six-speed manual or an eight-speed auto gearbox, with the help of Mitsubishi’s Super Select 4WD-II all-wheel-drive system.
