Paul Salford, the director of Mitzy Bitz, started off life as a Massy Ferguson engineer, repairing and maintaining agricultural vehicles back in 1986. He left in 1991 to pursue a career more focused around selling, as that was where he truly excelled.

His first sales job was for a London based firm, who sold Leather Jackets in a chain of their own stores up and down the UK. Paul quickly became the east coast representative for the company, managing stores from York to Skegness including weekend flash sales at hotels which is where they liquidated stock at bargain prices.

Then, in 1995, Paul dipped his toe into the car import market, and soon became hooked. He was importing Mazda MX5's, Mitsubishi EVO's, Subaru Imprezas and everything in between. 

Blast forward to 2002 and Paul decided he didnt want to import cars any more (he's already imported most of them!) but instead, he now wanted to steer his business down the dismantling and parts harvesting route - specialising in Mitsubishis as he had become the go-to guy in the UK for this particular brand of vehicles and enjoyed working on them due to their similarities to the agricultural vehicles he initially trained on. He moved into a rented yard with a portacabin and his new journey had begun.

In 2011 Sean, Paul's "Right hand man" joined the team and has fast become an indispensable part of the family. In May of 2015 Neil joined the family too, he came with 21 years experience working in the parts department of a Mitsubishi Dealer, so he was the perfect person to front the new MOT and repair side of the business. Then, in 2017 Mitzy Bitz moved to a custom built premises, allowing immediate expansion of the harvesting side, the repairside, and - thanks to a custom designed and built MOT station - the MOT and servicing side of Mitzy Bitz too.

Now, in 2019 with the launch of a new bespoke parts harvesting system, a brand new eCommerce platform Paul, Sean and the Team are gearing up to dominate the Mitsubishi parts market online across the globe.
